In March 2000 we left the comforts of life as we know it behind and headed off into the great unknown for ten months. We had no major goals or expectations from our trip. We simply wanted to see as much of the big blue marble as possible, share new experiences together, meet new friends and have us some fun!
We posted this web site so that our friends and family could see what we were up to throughout the trip, and also so that other people interested in travel could keep up with us and maybe even use it as a resource information on long-term travel. Although I (Becky) put together most of the text for the initial site, once on the road we both posted updates. You'll get the real story here...what we liked, what we hated, and what we really thought about where we were. We reserved the right for our own observations and opinions.
